I do not know if I can find the right words or can express myself in the way I want. But after 3 weeks I feel I need to try. Hug your loved ones all the time, do not take life for granted, and believe that there is truely a God that loves you. In a brief second my life was turned upside down right in front of me, I remember running to our truck screaming “that is my Family”. The loss of our sweet Marcus is unbearable, but God is carrying me through this storm that we are now calling our new life. Thanks to you, our community!! I will never move from this small sweet town that we call home. Thank you for your love, meals for my family, the fundraising, and all the visits to my husband who has enjoyed every single one. He is making progress everyday and we are looking forward to the day he gets to come home, but the Roseburg VA Rehab is his new home for now. The food is good and care has been great. Visitors are welcome all day and evening. As for Marcus’s memorial service, we will wait until Bill is out of inpatient rehab and home. We also had to cancel our daughter’s wedding, so some time in the next 6 mths or so we will be having a wedding reception to celebrate their marriage. Machias is back in school full time and playing football. MacGyver is taking baby steps to learn to go to school without his brother, his best friend. Better Way Electric is up and running, Thomas Goddard is getting it done. Please be patient as he learns to navigate a business that took 16 yrs for Bill to build. Thank you to all friends and fellow electricians for volunteering your time. Like I said, we are learning to live a new life, and with God on our side, and with the huge support system we have, we are going to survive this, one day, one minute at a time. God is Good.
