Things got a little toasty on this service call 🔥
This triple switch for a bathroom fan/light/heat combo had actually caught fire. The cause? A shorted exhaust fan motor and a switch that wasn’t properly grounded.

To get this system safely back in action, we cut in a new junction box above the existing switch location, accessed the undamaged wiring, made all necessary splices, and installed a new switch. We also tested the remaining wiring to make sure there was no hidden damage to the insulation.

A replacement fan motor had to be ordered, but once it arrived we came back out and got everything installed and running safely again. 💪⚡
