The tile isn't usually the problem. What's under it is.

On a concrete tile roof, the tile can outlast the house — the underlayment beneath it can't. That's the layer that dries out and starts letting water through, often years before the tile shows a thing. So we lifted the tile and stacked it for reuse, stripped the roof down, and rebuilt it from the underlayment up. New underlayment across the full field, fresh wood battens set to carry the courses, metal run at the edges, then every tile relaid and fastened back down. Same tile, new roof underneath it.

This job involved:
Existing concrete tile lifted and stacked for reuse
Old underlayment stripped, deck cleaned and prepped
New underlayment installed across the full field
Wood battens set for the tile courses
New metal at the edges
Tile relaid and fastened

No tear-off you didn't need, and no upsell to tile you already own. If your tile roof has some age on it and the underlayment has never been touched, that's the clock worth watching — not the tile.
