Here's some shots of a big kitchen project we recently wrapped up. As you can see, the homeowners started moving in while we were finishing up. The space was thoughtfully designed by Amanda at Hemma Living and fabrication was carried out by our shop. The space included a the main kitchen, a large butlers pantry area, bar and bathroom. Everything was crafted from clear Alder with charcoal stain in the kitchen and mahogany stain in the rest of the house. This great kitchen is surrounding a huge island with a custom walnut countertop. The island also contains a perpetually filling water bowl, custom pet food storage pullouts and pullout dog bowls in the base. Those are some lucky pups!

Here's some before and afters of a small galley kitchen we recently finished up in NE Minneapolis. All of the remnants of the 1970's are gone, and now it has a nice stained birch kitchen with an open and light feeling. Since the kitchen is so narrow, the customer wanted "touch to open" hardware on all the doors and drawers so they didn't snag their clothes on k***s or pulls when passing through. We kept it simple and left all of the appliances and plumbing where they originally were to keep the costs down. Even the dog has her own spot!

After months of cutting and what seemed like endless sanding and finishing, we finally finished up a big project at the Eshquaguma Country Club in Gilbert, MN for one of our favorite contractors, Lakehead Constructors. We fabricated all of the dark colored ceiling beams, crown, wall trim, fireplace mantle, window (even got to make up an oval) and door trim from stained clear Alder. The other rooms all have the same trim and ceiling details, just painted white.

Here's some pics of a pretty cool project we just finished up after 6 months of work. The old Dugout Bar here in Superior, which was closed for many many years, is now The Port Town Tavern. We repaired and refinished the old iconic back bar and brought it back to like new condition. We removed the original mahogany bar top, brought it back to the shop to strip old paint and repair some damage. We left some of the old marks and burns in the bar top for character and built a whole new base to go under the old top. We also fabricated and finished all of the tables to match the old back bar. A beautiful new place that has retained much of it's 100 year old character.
