Before you blame the dog, check the plumbing. 😂

That lovely rotten-egg aroma could be coming from a few places;

Coming from a drain?
A dry drain trap or plumbing vent problem could be letting sewer gases into your home.

🚿 Only when you run hot water? Your water heater could be the culprit. Certain bacteria can cause that sulfur smell.

🔥 Smell it near gas appliances or throughout the house? Take it seriously. Natural gas is given that rotten-egg odor to warn you of a possible leak. Leave immediately without operating switches or using a phone inside, then call 911 or your gas utility from outside.

Why does my toilet bubble when the washing machine drains?
And the big question:
Should I be worried?
When the washing machine drains, it sends a lot of water through the drain system at once. If the toilet bubbles or gurgles when that happens, it can point to a partial blockage in the drain line or a venting issue.
If it keeps happening, it’s worth paying attention to. Sometimes the only way to know what’s going on in that line is to actually see what’s happening inside it.

We’re always incredibly grateful when a customer takes the time to share their experience.
It means even more when we know what was behind the call — an ongoing plumbing problem that had already been worked on by a number of other plumbers, a short-term rental, and a very limited timeframe to get it figured out.
We’re glad we were able to get there quickly, troubleshoot the problem, and get it handled with the right equipment.
It feels great to know we earned their trust and their business.

Tomorrow starts another week, so tonight is for slowing down, enjoying what’s good, and not worrying too much about what’s waiting for us Monday, because it's not in our hands 🙏

We got a call about a customer having FROGS coming into the house through the toilet.
Yes,the toilet. 🐸🚽
Not one frog.
Not a frog-shaped stain.
Actual frogs.

Apparently, these little guys found an entrance that most of us would really prefer they didn't.
Plumbing calls can be pretty predictable.
