A new part arrived in the mail last week! We couldn’t be more excited!!

Our Drum Sander Conveyor Belt Assembly broke down back in March, and I have been unable to use my drum sander for getting boards all sanded up, and we’ve been having to make do without it.

Thankfully, last week Tuesday, we finally placed an order for a whole new conveyor assembly for the SuperMax 19-38 Drum Sander, and it arrived by Friday! Incredible delivery turnaround time. We couldn’t thank Laguna Tools for the quick response time and diligent work with getting this delivered speedily and fully assembled in box for us.

Now it’s time to get to sanding down all our boards again, instead of relying on hand sanding all the countless boards we build. Looking forward to the finish products and future builds we get to start making again with this beast!

This past weekend, Wood That Could made its first-ever pop-up market appearance at the Trout Days Festival in Cross Plains, Wisconsin — and wow. We are still soaking it all in.

We set out with a handful of goals. We hit every single one of them, and then some. Record-breaking sales. More foot traffic than we could have anticipated. And more importantly — genuine conversations, kind words, and incredible support from so many of you who stopped by, picked something up, and made us feel like we truly belong out here doing this.

From locals to folks traveling from all across the area — THANK YOU. This success wasn’t ours alone. It belonged to every single person who walked under that tent, touched a board, and believed in what we’re building.

We walked away from Trout Days with full hearts, sold inventory, and a whole notebook full of lessons. We know what’s working. We know what we want to do better. And we are more fired up than ever to bring Wood That Could to more markets, more festivals, and more communities.

Also, HUGE shoutout to Main Street Market for organizing a great event, and giving us the opportunity to be apart of it!!

This is just the beginning. 🙌

The name of the audio on this post definitely describes what was needed this week in the shop, Stamina. As the weather is warming, and the year is progressing, I’ve been getting prepped and ready for the markets taking place this year. I was in the shop this weekend working on getting boards finished up and ready for our booth on May 2nd, out at Trout Days Festival in Cross Plaines, WI. We are partnering with to hopefully have a successful turnout and interest with the boards we will be selling. This weekend consisted of getting roughly 37 boards sanded down with different grit sand paper, to get that nice smooth finish everyone loves. We are planning, and hoping, to have close to 60 boards up for sale at the booth in May! Come check us out at the festival. We are super excited, as this will be our first ever pop-up vendor booth at an event!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the nice warm weather here in Wisconsin this weekend!

I spent some time in the shop this weekend to finish up this batch of boards, and now looking at the next phase for this batch. They’re all shaped and ready, but now comes the part that takes the most patience—sanding. I have about 6–8 hours to get that smooth finish and bring out the character of the wood from all the boards!

It’s a slower process, but it’s also where each piece really starts to come to life. The grain becomes clearer, the surface becomes smoother, and you can start to see the final product take shape.

Grateful for the time to create these and excited to share them once they’re finished.

It’s 2026!! I couldn’t be more excited for the business it will bring. I decided to take a bit of a break in the shop, to decompress and relax after such an incredibly busy end of the year season we had in December. That said, I just got my first large haul of lumber from my incredible friends over ! I’m so pumped to get some sawdust going and some creations made. This batch alone ended up being over 140 board feet alone!! So excited to see the awesome designs and products I will make from all this. We have some exciting news coming in the near future, with a new experience we will be incorporating this year. Hope everyone’s 2026, has been well thus far, and gets even better from here on out! Cheers! 🍻

As the year comes to a close, we’re grateful for every board, every grain, and every customer who supported Wood That Could this year.

From raw lumber to numerous different finished pieces. 2025 was about craftsmanship, creativity, and community, all of which wouldn’t have been possible with all the support from our customers. Here’s to a new year filled with bold designs, meaningful gifts, and work made to last.

Happy New Year from our shop to your home 🪵✨

Gift cards make a great gift, stocking stuffer, or in a gift basket. Come grab one at Moho Jo’s or the Makers Market! It’s good for both!

Wow! First off, I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! It may have been last week, but we are so so so thankful for all of the generous customers and businesses that have reached out to us this year, and for all the orders that have been placed and fulfilled! Just alone in the past two weeks, we have seen our sales go up by 200% since this time last year. With that being said, I have been busier than ever before, since we started this in 2022. Because of this, we couldn’t be anymore apprectiative for all our followers and customers! Thank you.

That said here’s some photos, to show my current personal project, where I am creating a very large chaos designed board for our home. I have about 200 individual strips that I’m putting together to create 12 different boards, and combining them into one large board. Looking forward to the end result next week!
