Before anything gets built, we model it.
This was a small mansard hip roof where we were hired for delegated design of the light-gauge truss system. Modeling it in Revit helped us:
Spot tricky bearing and alignment issues early
Coordinate cleanly with other disciplines
Provide clarity before the trusses were ever fabricated
Our client was responsible for fabrication and install — trusses, connections, bracing, and roof sheathing — but we helped make it smoother by building it twice: first in Revit.
