Last week, we wrapped up another incredible summer internship program at Thompson Construction Group, and we'd like to take a moment to reflect on the impact these talented young professionals have had on our team.

Over the past few months, our interns have stepped onto jobsites, collaborated in our offices, tackled new challenges, built meaningful relationships, and gained real-world experience that will help shape their future careers. In return, they have brought fresh perspectives, energy, and enthusiasm that have made us better.

As a final reflection, we asked each intern to describe their experience at Thompson Construction Group in just one word.

The result is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people are given opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute. Each response tells a story of a summer spent building more than professional skills. Welcome to the final episode of Intern Insights!

Throughout the summer, we highlighted a different intern each week, giving our students the opportunity to share who they are, what they do, and what makes their experience at Thompson unique.

This week, we're featuring Camden Hancox, a senior at Methodist University interning with our Industrial Construction Division.

Camden has spent the summer on-site at our project for GAF in Newton, Kansas, giving him the opportunity to experience the full construction process from takeoff to commissioning.

Thompson Construction Group is proud to present the 95th SCGA Amateur Championship, currently underway at Quixote Club in Sumter, SC.

"We're excited to sponsor this tournament and welcome the best amateur golfers in South Carolina to Quixote Club, where they can experience firsthand what the club's mission is all about," said Greg Thompson, President and CEO of Thompson Construction Group.

Through the Quixote Foundation, proceeds from memberships and corporate partnerships help support Liberty STEAM Charter School, expanding educational opportunities for local children and creating a lasting impact throughout the Sumter community.

As this year's championship unfolds, players and spectators alike have the opportunity to experience a club whose mission extends far beyond the fairways.
