How are you going to save your plants?

The BEST protection you can give your landscaping is root insulation from the elements and this is achieved by watering them in really well and then covering with 3-6 inches of additional mulch. That will hold the ground temp and fight the air chill, giving your roots the best chance at survival.

Try to avoid bagging or covering plants unless you deem it completely necessary. This can trap moisture and create mold or even frost your plants from the inside out. If you feel like something is too delicate to withstand, it’ll need to go inside!
