The finished product is the only picture I took. Tonya, Stephanie, and I walked parts of the property, discussed different medicinal plants, and processed lemon balm for future use.
I am always excited to have these ladies over. Fellow plant junkies and hard workers with a vision. Thank you, ladies!!

Shirley Starr hemmed a pair of jeans. She did such great work!! She will be back to finishing a purse and starting on a Bible book bag next week. Shirley has a long list of projects she is ready to take on.
Karen Taylor finished cutting all of the squares for our upcoming Quilting Bee!! Lots of sewing to be done to get the quilt top ready for quilting. Medicinal Plants Roundtable this Thursday 7p we will discuss, harvest, clean, and prep for preserving oregano and possibly lemon balm if time allows. If you plan to attend any Medicinal Plants Roundtables, please message me to save your spot. I like to make sure I have enough supplies.

Tonight's Medicinal Plants Roundtable we made toothpaste. We used eggshells as an add in and discussed different ingredient options and why they could each be used.
Next week we are going to try for a Nature Walk. You will need to dress accordingly. Make sure to check back for updates!!

Exciting news!! Shirley and Karen T picked out fabrics and a pattern tonight to make a new quilt top for this summer's outdoor Quilting Bee!! Chanda Hiatt has talked about doing a quilting bee out with her cow for years and now picked up a quilting frame just for the occasion. Not sure if we will quilt with the animals(Chanda lives right down the road) or just out in our yard but we will get that figured out soon enough. If you want to join in on this fun adventure, join us Tuesdays 5-8 or schedule a time that works best for you.

Basket Weaving with Foraged and Recycled Fibers Workshop. If you are wanting to learn or refresh your skills message me to schedule a day and time that works best for you. Baskets take 2-3 hours. This workshop will have a $10 fee if you wish to use my supplies. Free if you bring your own. We can make larger baskets but prices will reflect.

Traded our workshop room out with the living room. Much more room for activities!!! Free pear tree and black raspberry cuttings and FREE seed packets. Feeling the love with all the hearts found out in nature today.

I feel like I am winning today!! Schedule done before the beginning of the month. Lots going on around our place over the next few weeks. Half of our household is moving out! Which means deep cleaning and organizing and then onto holy week. Our schedule starts after that but of course there are always extra days not posted. If you want to schedule your own days and time send me a message. I have a few hundred tomatoes with their true leaves ready for up potting. So if you have available time to join me give me a shout!!

The origami pinwheel was February's quilt square! 😆 🤣 😂 As I have said before, pictures are not my forte! I'm always happy to work any quilt square with you at any time.
