🔨 It’s more than just walls.

Framing is one of those stages where a project suddenly starts to feel real. What began as plans on paper—and then a concrete slab—now has shape, height, and definition.

But framing isn’t just about seeing where the walls go. It establishes the footprint of the space, defines door and window openings, sets wall heights, and creates the structural framework for everything still to come.

It may look like a bunch of lumber right now, but this is where the vision really starts taking shape. 👏

Our garage project is officially going vertical, and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned for the next update! 🏠🔨

Some of the most important parts of a build are the ones you’ll never see once the project is finished.

Before the concrete is poured, there’s a lot happening below the surface—setting the forms, installing plumbing, placing the v***r barrier, checking elevations, and making sure every detail is where it needs to be.

Once that slab goes down, there’s no room for “close enough.”

At Pell-Co, we believe a quality build starts long before you can see the finished product. It starts with doing the hidden work right.

Because what you don’t see matters just as much as what you do.

✨ WORTH IT OR SKIP IT: Insulated Wood-Look Garage Doors

Cam’s verdict? WORTH IT. 🙌

Your garage doors take up a LOT of visual space on the front of your home, so why let them blend into the background?

Upgrading to insulated wood-look garage doors instantly separates your home from the standard white garage door. They add warmth, character, and serious curb appeal, and when you pull up to the house, they POP. 👏

It’s one of those upgrades that can completely change the exterior without changing the entire design.

Would you spend the extra for the wood look, or stick with classic white? 👇

✨ WORTH IT OR SKIP IT: Copper Roof Accents

There’s no denying it—copper accents on a roof can be GORGEOUS. But are they worth the upgrade?

Cam Wilder, our Real Estate expert, says… SKIP IT.

Copper is a beautiful detail, but it makes the most sense on a higher-end luxury build where the overall design and budget support that level of finish. For many custom homes, there are other places where those upgrade dollars can make a bigger impact.

That doesn’t mean we don’t love the look. It just means when you’re deciding where to splurge, copper might not make the cut.

There’s a lot riding on this pour.

A foundation pour might look like one big day of concrete, but the work that makes it successful starts long before the trucks arrive.

Careful preparation, accurate measurements, proper placement, and attention to every detail matter—because everything that comes next is built on what happens here.

Walls. Roof. Finishes. And eventually, a family calling it home. 🏡

That’s why foundation day isn’t just another step in the process. It’s one of the most important.

At Pell-Co, we believe a great home starts by getting the details right from the ground up.
