My love for antiques is never ending. Back when things weren't ordered from the Amazon bullies or made in China. When someone's name represented something or they simply had the skill to create a lasting piece to feed their family on. None the less I like to take tired pieces and love on them. I can carve most anything but when left to me it always comes out to be a scripture. I always think of what I would want in my house and... well... As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord so, it feels appropriate every time! You will notice the s and the e are a little faded. Its bc when we carve old "imperfect" pieces they aren't 100% even so the bit missed that part. I could have fixed it...I could have carved deeper on those letters. I am also good enough that I could have free handed the rest of the letters and your eye would have never known. But today I just wanted to highlight the fact that God sees your imperfections and loves you anyways. Happy Friday everyone. Have a blessed weekend.
