A Roofer’s Story – Part 2

This time of year, the burnout is real.

The heat is real.

By July and August, our crews have been climbing ladders, carrying shingles, working on hot roofs, and pushing through long days for months. Roof temperatures can climb well over 140°, and every step takes energy.

But every morning, they lace up their boots and do it again.

Not because it’s easy.
Because families are waiting.
Businesses need to stay open.
And leaks don’t wait for cooler weather.

So if you see a roofing crew out there this summer, give them a wave, offer them a cold bottle of water if you can, and remember there’s a lot of hard work happening above your head.

We’re proud of our team. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and keep grinding.

A Roofer’s Story – Before the Sun Comes Up

Most people are still asleep when our day begins.

5:00 AM – The alarm goes off.

6:00 AM – We’re at the shop loading trucks, checking materials, and making sure we have everything needed for the day.

7:00 AM – Boots hit the roof.

By lunchtime, the roof surface can be well over 140°, but the work doesn’t stop. Every bundle of shingles, every piece of flashing, every repair is done knowing that someone is trusting us with their home.

It’s hot. It’s hard. It’s exhausting.

But at the end of the day, there’s something rewarding about looking back at a completed roof and knowing another family is protected.

This isn’t just roofing.

It’s craftsmanship, teamwork, and pride.

Here’s to every roofer who gets up before the sun so others can stay dry when the storms roll in.
