We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class A /CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a critical component of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting equipment and materials from one location to another. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. At any point in time, a lowboy, flatbed, or dump trailer could be used during the normal work week. Most days, trips are regional and can return home nightly.
Some trips include overnights or even multiple days away from home. Truck and Trailers provided by the company.
**Responsibilities: **
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer, dump trailer, or other heavy-duty vehicles to transport equipment and materials all over southeast USA and Texas.
- Load and unload small and heavy equipment, secure loads to DOT standards.
- Manage routes and ensure timely delivery of machines and materials to the jobsite.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, delivery times, and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Comply with all safety regulations and industry standards, including those related to commercial driving and freight transport.
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
**Requirements: **
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Class A endorsement.
- Experience operating a tractor-trailer, flat bed, or dump trailer.
- Strong knowledge of freight transport regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and maintenance.
