Re**er Rescue on the West Side!

09/21/2026

My main man Zeke is on the other edge of our continent about to embark on his first “Real” Technician training!
I’d like to think that I can teach him everything, but sometimes it’s good to hear it from someone else’s mouth with a bit more emphasis on what is really going on. In my 25 or so years in this industry, I have probably been to at least 10 dealer training courses. I’ve always enjoyed them. Not being part of a dealer now, we don’t get these opportunities, like I used to. Not sure how we pulled this one off. 😅

Just picked up some fresh prints! If you need some quality clothing prints make sure you check with Rob and Tony Surf and Adventure Company in Sandbridge! Great folks to work with. Support Local!

Also take note, this is the first run of shirts that include the Registered logo. “Re**er Rescue” is a Federally Trademarked name that we own, all imposters beware…. 😁

Received a call from Penske early Labor Day Morning for a unit in Halifax, NC. The operator said “We literally just had the battery replaced a couple hours ago, and it won’t start again.”
Come on TK……it’s common practice to service the battery cables when replacing a battery.
The negative cable was loose as well. which caused some arc damage to the post of the new battery.

This one was no easy swap!
Zeke and Nelson tackled some serious challenges to bring this Container back to life:

✅ Towed a rough-terrain telehandler into position
✅ Removed fencing for access
✅ Pulled out the old Thermo King unit that was huck-riveted in place
✅ Mounted and bolted in a replacement Carrier unit

The result? A re**er container back in service! 💪🚛

Best part? This "new old stock" Carrier unit only had 293 compressor hours on it! That's hard to beat.

Looking for a quality replacement re**er unit without the price tag of brand-new equipment?
Give us a call—we may have exactly what you need.
