This is why I grow my own food! You can't get more nutritious fresh or delicious vegetables and herbs than right outside your front door! This is a summer salsa using MY Cilantro Red Bell Pepper and Tomatoes. I had to buy the Pineapple but big whoop. I make recipes like this all summer long into the Fall and everybody raves about the flavor. You just can't Beet growing your own 💚🙏💚🙏💚

This is my happy place. Rain or shine. Warm or cold. This is where I reset and find my balance again when I'm off track. I watch. I wait. I pray. And guess what. God shows up and suddenly the peace that surpasses all understanding floods this place like a summer's eve downpour. And I get refreshed and renewed spiritually and mentally. It's hard to describe with mere words. It's an experience you need to wrap yourself in. I can't explain but I can confirm. He's there. Always 💚🙏💚🙏💚

So these are mini Bell Peppers that I grew last summer. Territorial Seeds had the pepper seeds in stock (the Red Bells that I originally wanted weren't available) so I thought I'd give them a try. It took a while before the plants really started to get some size but once the fruits started developing I had a bumper crop! Fun and adorable these little peppers were quite a hit. I will be growing them again especially since they weren't only delish but peppers are loaded with Vitamin C! Good for the immune system 💛

Happy Friday! I was sitting in my garden having my morning coffee when I had a very handsome visitor...behind him is my Lovage plant which I sowed from seed in Summer 2019. Once again it has come back much to my delight! Lovage has sort of a cereal taste but sweeter. Absolutely divine in vegetable soups and heavenly in Asian dishes. I grew it on a whim...good call!

So my fav go-to Cilantro is Caribe. This plant is growing happily beside a little German Chamomile. Caribe almost always winters over for me in my zone 7A garden and I often harvest it into late Fall. Then it shows up strong in Spring and I get to enjoy my guacamole again. Happy me 💚🌱💚🌱💚
