Failing retaining wall repair in Windsor Locks.

We were contracted to address this failing wall that wouldn’t be standing for much longer.
Demolished, excavated, installed proper drainage which was a leading factor in why the original wall failed.
Replaced with Versa-Lok wall block. Regraded the lawn and left our customers with proper egress to their finished basement. Had a lot of help from Barratt Enterprises LLC on this one to get it completed on time.

Parking lot and sink hole repair we completed last week. We teamed up with New England Landscape Services to investigate a sink hole and repair some failing asphalt. After excavating we determined buried concrete and trash debris caused voids allowing for the sinkhole to form. We added 2 compacted lifts with stabilization fabric and some processed stone. We repaired the asphalt as well as 2 other damaged sections of the parking.

Large Grading project completed last month is Simsbury. We were contracted to help our customer gain some more usable space in their back yard. We excavated and removed over 800 yards of material behind the swimming pool to soften the slope. We used the excavated material to level off the side yard allowing for even more space to enjoy. We stumped and hauled away 120 yards of debris. We installed 170’ of perforated drain pipe to help mitigate water around the pool. We spread 180 yards of screened topsoil through the whole project area & to top it all off our friends at Barratt Enterprises LLC hydro seeded the finish grading.

Took back this hillside and installed some erosion control using 56 tons of Modified Rip Rap stone.
Cleared the brush, regraded the hill into a uniformed slope, installed filter fabric and Rip Rap and restored the lawn with screened loam up top. Got a tricky spot on your property you want to get under control? Give us a call for your grading and erosion control projects!

Little yard expansion in Suffield where we had to get creative putting in a shed pad. Punched out a 25 x 24 haunched pad. We removed an old chicken coop and large stump to get this site ready for a new out building. Rough graded and back in a few weeks for backfill and final grading.
