Hooper's Concrete Cutting and Core Drilling has over 45 years of experience in the construction and demolition industry in Los Angeles, California. David Hooper started when he was 16 years old, doing demolition, plumbing, and equipment installations in dry cleaners and laundries. By the time he was 23, he obtained his general as well as boiler, hot water heating, and steam fitting contractor licenses. He has installed hundreds of turn-key plants for small, commercial, "mom and pop" dry cleaners all across CA, AZ, and HI, as well as dozens of industrial laundry facilities. David Hooper and his family does every aspect of the operation, from acquiring permits and doing tenant improvements such as demolition and plumbing (air, gas, steam, sewer, water), to the equipment installation. In recent decade, with the help of his son, Cameron, they have switched from laundry and dry cleaning installations to focus on interior demolition and concrete cutting. A recent example was the turn-key construction and installation of Magic Laundry Service 4th facility in San Bernardino, California. This massive 50,000 square feet factory that serves major hotels and casinos in the area required over a hundred thousand pounds of concrete to be surgically removed from walls and floors.
