One of our favorite days on the water! ☀️🌊
We launched from Sundance Marina in Stuart and cruised south on the Indian River before heading down the Intracoastal to Pecks Lake, a beautiful beach tucked inside Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge between the Stuart and Jupiter Inlets. It’s one of the Treasure Coast’s best spots to anchor, swim, and enjoy the day.
After spending some time at the beach and jumping off the platform, we headed offshore to Bill Donaldson Reef (the 50-Foot Reef), located about 3 miles east-northeast of the Stuart Inlet, hoping to do some spearfishing.
Unfortunately, recent storms had the water too stirred up, and the visibility just wasn’t there. No fish this trip—but that’s all part of boating. Every day on the water is a good day, and we’ll be back when the ocean clears.
