The second floor in this home was suffering from some severe heat and moisture building up to the point it was causing the paint to peel off the walls

Pretty common in these older homes that the insulation inside the ceilings are packed so tight that no air circulates and starts to cause poor conditions inside of the homes

We are tuning this one up and also installing a Lifetime roof system

When those gnarly storms hit storm damage to homes sometimes follows

A neighbors tree fell and smashed this home up pretty good

Smashed up some old planking boards and rafters in the roof framing

Re sheeting this deck prior to the new shingle install was a non negotiable

Installed a new CertainTeed shingle system and corrected a lack there of attic ventilation

This Tannersville PA home is ready for the next storm

Original slate roof was removed and replaced years ago, but the original yankee gutter was left as is and it makes sense why

It needed a TON of attention and repair so the last guy might’ve figured leave it for the next

Our plan A was to strip old metal liner out and refresh the wood base and curb, then reline with rubber membrane

However during demo it became obvious quickly that most of this was a complete loss

As we came up with a few different options we had connected with the owners to share what solutions may be best

We then realigned our target and started moving forward towards a full removal of the existing over hang and then a rebuild with new 14” soffit overhang and new solid 2x fascia that will securely hold a new gutter system

When we have no plan B it only means one thing, to keep moving forward no matter what
