🚧 Groundbreaking in the Old Village of Mentor! 🏗️

We’re excited to celebrate the groundbreaking of this 45-unit mixed-use development featuring 10,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space in the heart of the Old Village of Mentor!

Every groundbreaking represents more than the start of construction — it’s the culmination of countless hours of collaboration, perseverance, and dedication. This project truly embodies the spirit of “The Little Engine That Could.” Despite its challenges, the vision never wavered, and we’re proud to see it reach this exciting milestone.

A special thank you to Uptown Mentor LLC (Alison and Mike Sikora) for their trust, partnership, and determination in bringing this vision to life. We also extend our gratitude to the City of Mentor, our talented Geis design and construction teams, and all of our trade partners who helped make this project possible.

While modest in footprint, this development has the potential to make a lasting impact — bringing new energy, activity, and opportunities to the Old Village for years to come.

The smoke was rolling and so was the flavor! ♨️ Texas Pit Master Leroy Williams was back in town, serving up his legendary barbecue for the Geis team.

From melt-in-your-mouth brisket and fall-off-the-bone ribs to his unforgettable chicken jalapeño bombs, every bite was incredible.
