Let’s play a game!

Today while performing a video inspection on a sewer line we encountered this object obstructing the pipe. On Monday, we will be digging up the line to retrieve the object and replace the pipe.

I’ll VENMO / CashApp $20 to the first person who correctly guesses what this object is.

A bad day for this customer but we were able to find the source of the leak, make the necessary repairs, remove the damaged drywall, insulation, and carpeting, and begin the drying-out process.

We happened to be working near the Strasburg Midget Football League field today and couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a half-smoke w/ onions, egg and cheese. A customer with ongoing draining problems request that we inspect the line with our sewer camera. A video inspection found the culprit approximately 12’ in the drain line. A piece of an old trip-lever drain assembly that had broken from the overflow and lodged itself sideways in the pipe. I am not sure how it passed through the p-trap but it did. Unfortunately, our retrieval efforts were unsuccessful and the concrete will need to be removed for access.
