Sisler Builders has been in business, building and remodeling homes in the Stowe area, for three decades. We’re known for the honesty, integrity, and high-quality craftsmanship that we bring to every project. THE HISTORY
Although we've done our fair share of home building over the years, we actually got our start in historic building renovation. Our owner and founder, Steve Sisler, began

renovating historic buildings with his mother during his teenage years. The principles that he learned during those early days on the construction site have played an important role in the development of our company. THE PRODUCT
For us, the construction process is about delivering a superior product on time and within budget. Our commitment to doing the job right the first time, backed by a breadth of experience, skills, and education, brings intrinsic value to any Sisler project. THE PEOPLE
Our business is as much about building and maintaining relationships as it is about building houses. Over the years, we’ve earned the trust and respect of homeowners throughout the Central Vermont region. Quite a few have become repeat customers. In this business, we depend on each other in real, tangible ways. None of us could build a high quality house or complete a first-class remodeling project on our own. So we work hard to maintain good relationships with our clients, employees, subcontractors, and material suppliers. Our investment in these partnerships has resulted in a terrific team of talented people who are always ready and willing to jump in and support us in any way necessary to get the job done right. For us, this shared sense of project stewardship is what gives meaning to the concept of "teamwork."

Building a home is about more than the finished product- it’s about the journey. At Sisler Builders, our values guide every project we take on. For more than 40 years, we’ve believed that exceptional homes are built through a commitment to quality craftsmanship, clear communication, strong relationships, and doing things the right way.

From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, we’re personally invested in the outcome. We believe the building process should be a collaborative experience- one where expectations are clear, communication is consistent, and every detail is handled with care.

Sometimes the perfect home isn’t the one you planned for, it’s the one that finds you. ✨

What started as a dated 1970s manufactured home became a stunning modern farmhouse retreat overlooking Vermont’s breathtaking Worcester Range. From removing walls and vaulting ceilings to creating custom built-ins, a new fireplace, and expansive outdoor living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully reimagined.

This project was about more than a renovation, it was about creating a place for family, connection, and making memories for years to come.

We’re grateful to have been part of bringing this vision to life.

This renovation expanded a beloved home to create a true family gathering destination!

The renovation included:
🔨 A larger kitchen + dining area for shared meals
🌿 A new screened porch for three-season enjoyment
🛏️ A new primary suite for added privacy and comfort

The new construction was carefully designed to blend seamlessly with the existing timber frame- while a complex new roof system tied it all together structurally and aesthetically.

The result is a home where everyone can come together comfortably, all under one roof ❤️
