MCLD is a regional landscape architecture firm; we are leaders in an important and evolving movement. The cumulative benefits of residential landscape architecture are just beginning to be understood. MCLD is transforming the visual and built narratives of garden design, proving that “home” has never been more important in the face of pandemics and climate change. Our unique grasp of life in seasonal New England drives our environmentally distinctive, contextual approach to creating lush and ecologically balanced landscapes. We embrace an iterative and collaborative design process with our clients and work closely with the region’s most celebrated architects, interior designers, builders, suppliers, craftspeople and landscape professionals. Our gardens strengthen the connections between interior and exterior spaces, bridge our clients’ indoor and outdoor lifestyles, and grasp the dynamic rhythms of everyday life.
