Not all custom is created equal.
“Custom” shouldn’t mean choosing from a catalog and picking your finishes from a limited list.

At DT Builds, full custom means starting with your vision, your home, and the way you actually live then building around it.

Full custom. No compromises.

We joke sometimes that, honestly, it would be easier just to build a new house.

But a big part of what we do is taking what’s already there, tying old into new, and making the transition feel like it was always meant to be that way.

It takes planning, problem solving, and a pretty deep understanding of how a house goes together. We like that challenge.

Because when you’re working with an existing home, there’s always a puzzle to solve. Thankfully we like puzzles.

Your house couldn’t be in better hands.

Nothing is random in our world.

Every dimension has a reason. Every material has a purpose. Every detail has a place.

Whether dictated by the site, the architecture, or the people we’re building for, nothing is arbitrary.

It’s common to underestimate how many decisions go into something as simple as an awning. Sometimes we’re mixing, wood species, finishes and design elements.

Our selections process is designed to bring your decisions forward, giving our team the opportunity to make informed choices, coordinate details, and resolve conflicts before they become problems in the field.

The value we bring goes beyond our sales process, project management, craftsmanship, and work ethic. It’s also in how we hand over your finished space.

We invest real care and intention into every detail of your project, so when it’s time to hand it back to you, we do so thoughtfully. Our goal is simple: you should be able to walk in, feel at home, and immediately enjoy the investment you’ve made with DT Builds.

Custom home = Custom solutions.

What separates custom builders from your neighbor’s cousin’s friend with a truck is the knowledge and ability to problem solve on the fly. We are constantly assessing and reassessing on the front end so we do not run into problems on the back end.

At the end of the day we want you to have what you want. And unless there is some kind of real engineering constraint we will make that happen for you. We reiterate the mantra often, “everything is possible”.

Selections are the foundation of every project. They shape the look, feel, and function of your build or remodel.
Your taste. Your palette. Your vision.

Before we can bring a space to life, we need to know exactly what “life” looks like to you. From finishes and fixtures to the smallest details, each selection guides the entire building process.

Selecting the right doors for large openings is about more than aesthetic and budget. It impacts natural light, flow, functionality, and how the entire space comes together. Getting these decisions right early makes all the difference.
