All in! 🔥💪🏼

Wrapped up a 10-acre cleanup and mulching job for a customer in Norman, Oklahoma.

This property was extremely thick with unwanted underbrush, cedar trees, fallen limbs, and debris. When we started, there were only two narrow trails through the property, and even those required a lot of high-stepping, ducking, and dodging limbs.

We opened up the front yard so it can now be maintained with a zero-turn mower, created new deer trails and hunting areas, removed the cedars throughout the back, and mulched the trash and debris covering the ground. The customer can now walk and access the entire property without any issues.

The efficiency on this project was pretty incredible. We priced the work by the day and cleaned up the entire 10 acres in less than two days, finishing well ahead of what we originally expected and saving the customer a good amount of money.

Another happy customer is always a win for us. That’s what we do this for—to serve people, treat them fairly, and do everything we can to give them the most value for their money.

Does this look familiar? :)

If pulling into your driveway means dodging potholes, getting covered in mud, or beating up your suspension every day... it's probably time.

Most people don't know this, but driveway restoration and access roads are actually where we cut our teeth. These days, the majority of our work is commercial—building and reclaiming access roads for cell tower contractors and other commercial projects across Oklahoma.

As we head into the remaining half of summer, we're opening our schedule up to take on a limited number of residential driveway projects.

One thing that surprises a lot of homeowners price wise is that we can often restore a driveway **without** hauling in a bunch of new gravel. With the specialized equipment we run, we're able to reclaim and rework the existing material, fix drainage issues, eliminate potholes and washboarding, and get your driveway driving like it should again. If new material is needed, we'll tell you—but a lot of times it isn't.

If your driveway looks anything like these pictures, shoot me a message. I'd be happy to come take a look and give you an honest opinion. I think you'll be surprised at what's possible in just a few hours of equipment time.

That puddle forming at your driveway edge? Not normal.

3 signs your grading is failing — and what it'll cost if you ignore them:

-Water pooling instead of draining off.

-Ruts or soft spots forming in the same spots every time.

-Gravel thinning out or migrating to the low side.

A few simple before-and-after photos from one of our recent commercial projects. We’ve got a lot more photos and video coming as we finish editing everything.

This was a commercial access road reconstruction project for a major national contractor that maintains cell tower infrastructure across the country. We’re grateful for the opportunity to build a strong relationship with a great company by doing the job the right way.

This road had ruts up to 2 feet deep that stretched well over 100–200 feet in places. Grass had completely taken over sections of the roadway, and it was obvious the road had been repaired multiple times over the years. You could see layer after layer of different gravel and rock, and there was even geotextile fabric underneath from previous repairs.

The real problem wasn’t the road—it was the drainage.

Every contractor before us focused on replacing gravel instead of fixing what was causing the failures. Water was flowing from the top of the hill directly into the center of the roadway, following the crown downhill and washing the road out over and over again.

Our solution was to address the source of the problem.

We installed a large diversion swale at the top of the hill with riprap to slow and redirect the runoff before it ever reached the road. From there, we excavated roughly a 2-foot-wide by 1-foot-deep drainage ditch alongside the roadway, allowing water to flow naturally without cutting back into the road.

Instead of lining the entire ditch with riprap—which can redirect water unpredictably and create new erosion—we left it natural. Eastern Oklahoma’s rocky native soils are ideal for this application and should allow water to drain freely while remaining stable for years to come.

Once drainage was corrected, the roadway was rebuilt, graded, and wheel-compacted using a fully loaded tri-axle dump truck to ensure a solid finished surface.

Unfortunately, US Cellular had already spent thousands of dollars repairing this road over the years. The goal wasn’t just to make it look better—it was to build it so they hopefully won’t have to keep paying to fix the same problem.

We’re proud they trusted TRAK Construction Company with the project, and even more proud that we were able to provide a long-term solution instead of another temporary repair.

Fix the cause. Not just the symptom. That’s how we approach every project.
