Prepping an area for a new pollinator patch can be a challenge, especially if you’re trying to avoid herbicides. Solarizing is one option to kill existing vegetation, sterilize any existing seeds, and slow rhizomes (like Bermuda) from spreading. Once this process is complete, we’ll come back in with some compost/topsoil mix to kickoff fresh soil microbial life, and overseed with wildflowers this fall. Stay tuned! 🌱☀️
