At Kirtz®, we offer shutters, shades, and blinds. Odd-shaped window treatments such as arches or circles are our specialty. Open for factory tours.

We specialize in plantation shutters to fit any shape opening. We produce some of the largest panels in the industry without a divider rail. The panels can measure up to 41” wide and up to 120” tall. Kirtz® Shutters offers free in-house and online consultations (including free quotes). Our sales representatives assist in selecting

We install and service in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. We ship nationwide. Upon request, we fabricate live-edge tables and countertops. Kirtz® employees are craftsmen. Our craftsmen are innovative. Hence, your shutters are uniquely tailored to your interior design and exterior architecture. We welcome the opportunity to design specialty products. Kirtz® customers can choose from 18 stock colors or custom paints and stains. Our experts will finish each and every shutter to your specifications. Kirtz® Shutters are typically made of maple because of its superiority in strength and resistance to indentation. We have customers who still have the original shutters from decades ago in their homes. However, we can make interior shutters from other hardwoods such as red or white oak (rift-, quarter- and plain sawn), walnut, beetle kill pine, alder, knotty alder, ash, cherry, knotty pine, mahogany, and many others. Kirtz® shutters are carefully crafted to accentuate the individuality of your home. We use only hardwood and the best paints and stains for durability. The stiles on our shutters are strong and warp-resistant. Thanks to the use of Old World Joinery, a Kirtz® Shutter can never come apart. The elliptical louvers provide superior temperature and light control. The sculptured tiltrod has a substantial feel and works without fail. Our tensioning system ensures that the shutter looks good, no matter how often you open and close the louvers. Kirtz® Shutters crafts shutters with moveable or fixed louvers, no matter the shape the opening.

Every Pirouette® shading has a sheer behind the vanes, and it changes how the whole window feels.

Hunter Douglas builds Pirouette Window Shadings with soft fabric vanes on a single sheer backing. Choose a fabric with ClearView sheer, and you get a crisp view outside, so the vanes look like they're floating. Choose one with Classic sheer, and the light filters more softly with a veil of privacy, even when the vanes are open.

Either way, the sheer cuts glare and filters UV rays, which helps protect your furniture and floors from fading. You can tilt the vanes anywhere from fully open to closed, or raise the whole shading into the headrail when you want the window clear. Operation is manual or motorized.

Fall is the best patio season in Oklahoma. The heat backs off, but that low evening sun still hits you square in the face.

A kitchen window takes more abuse than almost any other window in the house. Steam, splashes, grease in the air, all of it.

Fabric shades and cellular blinds soak that up over time. The fabric holds odors, the folds trap grease, and cords near a sink or stove are one more thing to keep clean. Solid hardwood shutters, finished properly, handle that environment a lot better. Wipe them down and they're done, no fabric to scrub or replace.

Louvers also give you more control right where you need it. Tilt them to let light in over the sink while blocking the direct sightline from the yard or the neighbor's window. Close them fully for privacy after dark without losing the room's natural light during the day.
