Providing major upgrades and cleaning up elevators is very rewarding and makes for a fun job.
This 60 year old starter contactor was completely wore out, beginning to cause issues and truly “obsolete”.
We removed the old starter components and replaced it with a Siemens Soft-Start. This is a major upgrade for this elevator, and sure looks nice too!

Hydraulic Elevator making a slamming sound periodically? Two and Three stage hydraulic jack seals are typically the culprit. These seals are completely compromised, not allowing the jack assemblies to stay in sync with each other. The elevator must be hung with rigging and the pistons must be removed from the cylinders to expose these seals. This is no easy task, but one that we are very familiar with.

This elevator suffered from bad pump bearings and a compromised valve. New pump , new valve, fresh oil change, new hoses...

This elevator suffered from bad pump bearings and a compromised valve.
New pump , new valve, fresh oil change, new hoses and T-bolt clamps, new victaulic gaskets, new belts, hydraulic test and it is back in business.
