I have a newly installed (2018) American Standard AccuComfort Platinum 20seer hvac system.
It was time to replace the filter again, only this time i had purchased on of those rinsable.re-usable replacement filters.
However, I discovered the hard way that the small hump in the air filter slot (meant to secure the paper filters) prevents successful installation of a filter with a rigid metal frame.
I proved this point by jamming the filter in and then attempted to remove it as i would have to for periodical cleaning.
Now it is stuck and there is not enough clearance for me to fully remove it

Thank you, Bowman's Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electrical, Inc. for coming out quickly when our AC stopped working in the middle of a hot summer and during a pandemic. Eric was polite, knowledgeable, and followed covid procedures throughout his visit. He was able to fix our issue quickly and inexpensively and we now have cool air again! 🎉

We recently replaced a leaky roof with a new roof by Shiner roofing company.

Bill from Shiner roofing at the time of initial inspection noticed our chimney was tilted and as a result would be disconnected from inside. He immediately suggested Bowman’s Electric as good company to get a professional opinion about chimney. Though I had another company with cheaper roof estimate at that time who claimed everything was fine in the attic and they will take care of fixing chimney form outside , I decided to call Bowman’s. Scott from Bowman’s came and inspected my roof & attic. We were stunned to find out that our roof could have caught on fire anytime. He showed us burned wood in our attic too. when I called Bill with the result he immediately put our roof job at the top priority because of fire hazard.

Scott gave us a fair estimate for the work to be done and said it can be fixed without the need to be done at the time of roof replacement, but we preferred it to be done at the same time. So they happily agreed to work and coordinate with Shiner roofing. Rain in past month was not helpful and bad weather pushed our install twice after material delivery. Dean & Aron were kind and flexible to come and do a fantastic replacement job of chimney and other parts in the attic. Dean even reconnected one of the disconnected vent for us while fixing our chimney.

Dawn in the office is also very friendly & helpful.We are extremely happy with their service and will recommend them to anyone looking for related services.
