Before & After: Lee Center Rooftop Upgrade

Two aging rooftop units out. Two new packaged heat pump units and two energy recovery units in. The result is better comfort, tighter control, and lower energy use for the building.

This was a big one: a technical crane lift, new insulated and weather-wrapped duct, and a full air balance. All engineered, permitted, and inspected.

CENTRYX, is proud of the team for another project done right.

Big things happen when great teams come together. 🎉

A few weeks ago, for the very first time, all three of our companies gathered under one roof. Commercial Express HVAC, CBW Mechanical, and Tolin Mid-Atlantic came together for one big all-hands meeting to celebrate a major milestone: our merger and the unveiling of our new name, CENTRYX Mechanical Solutions.

From a morning of breakfast and handshakes, to hearing our president share what’s ahead, to getting our hands on brand-new team gear, it was a day that set the tone for what’s next. Same people, same commitment, bigger capabilities.

Because that’s what this is all about: combining strengths to deliver a more seamless experience for our customers.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to every customer and partner who’s been part of our journey.

Stay tuned. This is just the beginning.🚀

Friday Project Showcase: 70-Ton RTU Lift

Some jobs show what a team can really do. Here are four stages of setting a 70-ton rooftop unit:

1. Roof opening and curb prepped
2. Unit delivered by flatbed
3. Crane lift
4. Set in place

A lift like this takes careful planning, tight coordination, and a crew that knows what it’s doing. That’s what the merger of Commercial Express HVAC, CBW Mechanical, and Tolin Mid-Atlantic into CENTRYX Mechanical Solutions brings to every project: three experienced teams working as one.

Have a great weekend!

Project Spotlight: Emergency Mobile Boiler

When a boiler failure shut down production for one of our customers, they needed a solution fast. Our team mobilized Friday afternoon, delivered a temporary boiler to the site, and spent the weekend piping it in. By Monday, the customer was back up and running.

This is what the merger of Commercial Express HVAC, CBW Mechanical, and Tolin Mid-Atlantic into CENTRYX Mechanical Solutions is all about: combining three experienced teams and their equipment to respond faster and keep customers running. A rental boiler keeps operations going while the customer plans for major repairs or a replacement.

A few postcards from this past summer ☀️

Summer in commercial HVAC means long days on hot rooftops, tight schedules, and fast-turnaround service calls. Our field crews stayed moving across the DMV to keep our facilities running reliably all season long. A huge thank you to our technicians and office staff for your hard work and craftsmanship every single day, and to our customers for trusting us to keep their facilities operating through the peak heat.

On to another season of serving our customers! ➡️🍂
