New metal connector screws with T25 internal drive!! Love it. thanks for one less screw I have to change from my favorite bit to use! Everything should be T25 fight me in the comments.

Snap loc metal roofing detail videos coming soon! This type of roofing is a lifetime system and when done properly is gorgeous. But like most things, the details are everything and executing them at a high level can take some time. Hopefully they turn out like I planned in my head and are easy to digest.

Every time I post this… what are the measurements you are making?? Honestly doesn’t matter a ton just eyeball it. Usually works out good enough to cover with your corner trim right?

Some have asked why I’ve been using more lately. Honestly, I used a lot of Dewalt years ago, then felt like they started falling behind while other brands pushed ahead. But lately? They’ve been putting out some seriously solid tools again.

This newest gen nailer has been a huge improvement over past versions. It feels lighter, more ergonomic, and hits HARD. Other than outrunning it a little in the video, I haven’t had any issues since I started using it.

Not sponsored — just my experience. Well done Dewalt, this one is staying in the trailer. Anyone else liking the newest gen nailer? I know some people had frustrations with older versions… trust me, I did too.

Oldest trick in the book, but also the most valuable trick when working with larger timber! Wood is never where you want it, but if you use math and it “SHOULD” be where you want it but isn’t… make it be there. Use leverage!

I knew Greg wasn’t going to quit! Sometimes it just takes a little motivation! Every line has to line up end to end or the building roof dimensions gets messed up! nailer has been a fav of ours lately, but the is a staple on our job site to put lumber where we want it!

Man almost missed that last one.. takes practice, but totally doable. I do recommend a better bit that what I was using… made it more difficult to punch thru the whole in the other side of the bracket.
