Sometimes, being an HVAC technician is an overlooked and under-appreciated profession. That is, until the heat goes out on Christmas Eve or the AC kicks the bucket during a hot and humid week. What you do truly supports life. It's vital. It will be always be vital. There's quite an irony in this profession in that you deliver comfort, but an HVAC technician is almost always uncomfortable. You are working in the heat, keeping people cool. You are working in the freezing cold, keeping people warm. You're out in the rain today and probably a dirty crawlspace or tight attic tomorrow. The everlasting itch of fiberglass insulation that sticks to the sweat on your arms is something I wish on no one. But you deal with these small tortures day in, day out, with a smile on your face. Selfless.
I appreciate it and I think more and more are starting to as well. Thank you for what you do.

When we started Meade's 3 years ago - I knew our passion for the customer experience was going to shine. What I didn't know at the time, is that we'd find such an outstanding group of people who would deliver that same passion on a bigger scale.

Dirt and dust on your system, inside and out, adds strain to it. It's kind of like running with ankle weights on. If it isn't addressed and dirt and dust continue to pile up, eventually something breaks.
Blower, outdoor coil and indoor coil cleanings are a great way to prolong the life of your system and prevent untimely breakdowns.

Happy Friday! We're a little behind on some new hire introductions, so without further ado... Welcome to the Sharpest Team In Town, Gio!
Some things that we've learned about Gio since coming on board at the end of last summer:

- Everybody LOVES working with him
- Absolutely terrible about keeping his jacket clean
- Eager to build a career in the trades
All things considered, we're lucky to have him supporting the install department and we're excited to see him continue to grow. The future is bright!

Obligatory 2022 reflection: At Meade's, we don't find success in fancy ways. There's no silver bullet. The reason our company has grown so much since its inception a few years ago, despite countless hurdles, is because we often do what others are unwilling to. Sometimes this is doing a job the right way, not the easy way. Sometimes this is answering the phone after hours and on weekends. Sometimes it's running a warranty call on a holiday, because that's the right thing to do. Sometimes it's a willingness to help somebody or provide advice, even if what they need isn't something that directly benefits the company. Our success isn't complicated or glamorous. It's elementary, unselfish, and rooted in how much we care. We're grateful every day for where we are and the small impact we've had. Here's to 2023 being the best one yet!
Boilers! For many, boiler work is a lost art. For us, not so much. This was a 3 day project that Tyson took the lead on. There were over 120 joints to solder and just as many threaded joints to hand tighten. Very few have the skills, knowledge, and patience to perform this kind of work.
