On to our next project. A bit more straightforward than the last; but going to be beautiful none-the-less. Unilock’s Holland Premier pavingstone in Sierra(color). A square Sunset Firepit with a built-in cooking grate. And Estate Wall steps (matching color) to be installed to the patio door.

Near completion of a current project (only a few minor details left). This “Outdoor Living Area” features High Format Dimensional Flagstone, with Belvedere seat walls; and a Belvedere firepit surrounding a Solo Smokeless Firepit. The fish pond abuts directly against and slightly under the paving. Both of these last two features are firsts for JC Associates.

A huge thank you to our customers who continue to challenge, and at the same time reward us by providing these opportunities.

We are currently designing and scheduling for 2022.

Started a project on a very “nice-to-be” patio. The pictures show the progress 6 days in. The patio features all ‘High Format’ material. Belvedere Wall and Dimensional Flagstone will be installed. Part of the wall materials are shown. Also featured will be a couple of new elements for JC Associates. The customer wanted a Solo Smokeless Firepit, and a pond that undercuts the edge of the paving. Both will be a part of the finished product. Stay tuned and we will update as we go.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t give a huge shout-out to the crew shown in the pictures. Tyler Diehl, Carson Diehl, and Kevin Haas are the muscle and driving force behind the ex*****on of ideas that are our ‘Outdoor Living Spaces’. At a time when every business I know is struggling to find employees, JC Associates is blessed with the best crew in our 30 year history.

A completed project. When we first arrived there existed a failing deck on the house. Deck was removed. Unilock Estate Wall, Ledgestone coping, a Sunset Firepit, along with Brussels Block and Mattoni paving were installed to create this outdoor living area. Thanks to the customer, who gave us this opportunity; and to the JC Associates crew who worked diligently to make this a reality for that customer. ENJOY!

Last winter was tough on your landscape plantings. Two varieties in particular (both shown here) that seem to be affected are Japanese Maple and Koreanspice Viburnum. A majority of the Rhododendron that I have seen only bloomed 1/2 way up the plant. The areas covered by snow were able to retain their flower buds. Areas exposed during the -38 air temp times had the buds freeze and die. Korean Boxwood also suffered a lot of damage.
