Sewer line replacement in Harrison Township. Homeowner was dealing with backups and we found the problem, the old cast iron line had structurally collapsed underground.

Once a cast iron pipe gives out like this, snaking it is just a temporary band-aid. The pipe itself is the problem.

We dug it up, removed the failed section, and replaced it with Schedule 40 PVC with a transition coupling to tie into the existing system. Proper materials, proper install, long-term fix.

Hey DNA fam, just completed a Sump discharge line replacement in Troy, and it went phenomenally. The old line was collapsed and was run with schedule 30 piping, which isn’t built to hold up underground long term.

Floor break in Rochester Hills. Customer had multiple backups so we ran a camera and found the problem, old cast iron completely rotted out with multiple breaks under the slab.

We dug it up, pulled the old pipe, replaced it with new PVC, backfilled with concrete, and passed inspection. All in one day.

Homeowner called with recurring sewer backups. We ran a camera and found the problem, the old sewer pipe had completely collapsed underground. No amount of snaking was going to fix this one.

This is what's hiding under your floor and you don't even know it.

We got called out to a home where the drains had been backing up for months. When we opened up the floor and dug down to the drain line, we found the problem — the old cast iron pipe was completely corroded through. Cracked, split open, and falling apart.

This pipe was supposed to carry wastewater OUT of the house. Instead, it was barely holding together.

Our crew trenched the floor, pulled out the old cast iron, and is replacing it with new pipe so this homeowner can flush a toilet without worrying about what's happening underneath.

If your home was built before the 1980s, there's a good chance you're sitting on cast iron pipes just like this. They don't last forever.
