Phase one: COMPLETE!!
Cannot wait to come back in a few weeks and start adding plants to this one.
This front yard is mostly shaded, with some dispersed sunlight throughout the day. It was once full of St. Augustine grass, but over time the grass died off and nothing had really been successful in the space since.
Nathan came through and cleared everything out, and then we got to work creating the general layout-adding the pathways, mulch beds, dry creek areas, and getting the bones of the space in place.
Next, we’ll come back in with plants ranging from full shade to shade tolerant, depending on each little area and the amount of light it gets. Once all the plants start going in, it’s really going to tie everything together. They’re gonna have their own little beautiful front yard oasis!!
