It involves the installation of finish woods and trim made of plastic or molded polyurethane. Finish carpenters perform tasks such as installing crown molding, baseboards, windows, stairs, railings, doors, cabinets, and other features of a building that requires aesthetic appeal. Trim carpenters are specialized workers who install and repair molding and trim found on windows, doors, baseboards, mantels and other ornamental pieces. Trim carpenters are called finish carpenters because they typically complete the project with the final carpentry details, making the job look finished.
