Building is about solving problems.
In this case, both the homeowner as well as the city had problems, and as is typical, the problems were on the same coin, but they were very different problems.
The homeowner's problem was that the city zoning did not allow a large enough footprint to accommodate the shed the homeowner desired.
The city's problem was that their zoning rules did not address the height of said shed.
The homeowner solved his problem.
The city's will likely be resolved after removing yards of red-tape, re-writing zoning rules, and then taping them back up again securely.
