Customer had a sewer smell in the house. A previous contractor replaced the sewer line from the curb to the home and added a sump pit, but the smell never went away.
I was called in to do a smoke test. During testing, I found a leaking lead fit-all plug near the furnace return.
I reset the plug while running smoke and tested it a few more times. No more smoke showed up, confirming the issue was fixed.
Used a Superior smoke machine with candles and pellets.
