It has definitely been a hot few weeks here in St. Louis, but our crews are still out there working and getting projects completed. We're trying to get as many of our customers taken care of as possible before school starts and summer begins winding down.

We also want to say thank you to our customers. Everyone has been great, very understanding of the heat, and just easy to work with. That makes a big difference for our crews on these hot summer days.

We've stayed busy installing fences, decks, and handrails throughout the area. Over the last several weeks we've had the pleasure of working with customers in Wood River, Illinois, the City of St. Louis, Fenton, Shrewsbury, Lemay, St. Charles, and quite a few other communities around the St. Louis area.

It's been a busy summer, and we're grateful for every homeowner and business that trusted us with their projects.

It was another busy week for our crews.

We wrapped up a white vinyl privacy fence in Oakville and a chain link fence in Arnold. Two very different projects, but both designed to give homeowners a secure, functional, and great-looking yard.

Just finished this white vinyl semi-privacy fence project. These enclosures are a great option for AC units, trash cans, and pool equipment because they provide airflow while keeping utilities out of sight.

They also work well for patios or even full yard enclosures when you want a clean look without completely blocking visibility.

Spring is one of the best times to install a cedar fence—and this recent project is a great example of why.

A 72” western cedar privacy fence gives you a clean, natural look that blends perfectly with older homes and established neighborhoods. Cedar is also a great option if you’re looking for something affordable and easy to customize.

Installing now gives you plenty of time to enjoy your yard this summer, and more importantly—it allows the wood to fully dry before staining. Staining in warm, dry weather helps prevent issues like bubbling or peeling and gives you a longer-lasting finish.

We recently completed this community garden fence in the City of St. Louis. The design combines treated pine posts and rails with galvanized mesh wire to create a strong and simple enclosure that fits the space well. The cantilever gates were custom built to match the fence design and allow easy access to the garden area.

This neighborhood experienced significant tornado damage last year, and many homeowners are still working through the recovery process. It’s encouraging to see projects like this come together that help bring the community back outside and working together again.

We hope this garden brings plenty of fresh vegetables, time outdoors, and a little extra joy to the neighborhood this summer.

Spring storms are right around the corner, and this is the time of year we start seeing a lot of fence problems. Posts that have been rotting for a while finally give out in strong wind, tree branches come down, and fences that were already leaning end up on the ground.

If your fence moves when you push on it, there’s usually a reason. Fences are especially vulnerable in areas with standing water or on slopes and hills where soil can slowly wash away. When you start seeing concrete sticking above ground, that’s a sign the post is losing depth and strength over time.

Privacy fences also tend to take more of a beating than open picket or spaced fences because they catch more wind during storms. Sometimes a fence looks fine until one strong gust finally pushes it over.

We always try to help customers as quickly as possible when a fence goes down and the yard is open. We have pets and kids too, so we understand how important it is to keep your yard secure. If we can’t repair it right away, we’ll do our best to set up a temporary solution until we can come back.

We repair wood, chain link, aluminum, and vinyl fences, and we also work with insurance companies when storm damage happens.

Right now is usually one of the slower times of year for fence work, but once spring fully starts, most fence companies get backed up quickly and timelines can jump from a couple weeks to several months. If your fence has questionable posts or sections, it’s a good idea to address it before the busy season hits.
