🍂 Fall is Lawn Renovation Season

Thin grass, bare spots and struggling areas don't necessarily mean it's time to start over.

For this lawn, Greenstone Landscaping used a three-step renovation process:

🌱 Core Aeration — opens the soil and helps improve air, water and nutrient movement.

🌱 Overseeding — introduces new grass seed to help fill thin and bare areas.

🌱 Garden Mix Topdressing — adds a light layer of quality soil over the seeded areas to improve seed-to-soil contact and help establish the new grass.

Early fall is an excellent time to renovate cool-season lawns in the St. Louis area while soil temperatures are still warm and cooler weather is arriving.

Paver Patio + Drainage Solution

This project combined a complete patio transformation with a practical drainage solution.

We replaced the existing concrete patio with a new herringbone-pattern brick paver patio, finished with mortared natural stone edging.

We also addressed stormwater management by installing underground drainage and incorporating the home's rain chain into a surface grate, allowing water to be collected and carried away from the patio area.

It's a good example of how hardscaping and drainage can be designed together — improving the appearance of the space while also solving a functional problem.

Recently finished a project for a home owner in Webster Groves. The flagstone was already on site and approximately 75% laid out. We added a mortared natural edging stone to help encapsulates the polymeric sand. Cleaned out all the joints and locked everything in using Gator Dust Polymeric sand.
