🦇 Bat guano or rodent droppings?

This is bat guano. Notice how easily it smears and breaks apart when disturbed. Bat droppings are made largely from digested insects, giving them that dry, crumbly texture.

Rodent droppings are typically solid pellets that hold their shape.

Another clue? The location—finding concentrated droppings beneath an elevated area of a structure can be a strong indicator of bats.

The droppings tell the story. 🦇

Just a few photos highlighting the work we do for our property management clients.

Managing 400, 500, 700, or even 1,000+ units is no small task. While we’re there providing pest control services, we also serve as an extra set of eyes on your properties. If we notice maintenance or safety concerns, we’ll let you know so they can be addressed quickly.

Some of the issues we commonly report include:
• Water leaks
• Damaged utilities
• Broken glass
• Damaged doors
• And other visible maintenance concerns

Our goal is to help protect your properties—not just control pests.

We don’t believe in locking our clients into long-term contracts. We earn your business through dependable service and clear communication.

A client recently shared this with us just 4 days after their mole treatment!

While this is a great result, it’s important to note that this is very rare and does not happen in every situation. In my 7–8 years of professional pest control experience, I’ve only seen this happen twice.

Most of the time, moles will travel and pass underneath the soil, so you may not actually see them at the surface.

If you’re dealing with moles or signs of mole activity, give us a call! Our mole treatments are highly effective and designed to target the problem at its source.

🚨 Rat Infestation: Solving the Problem at the Source 🚨

Every pest control job is different, and sometimes the best service you can provide isn’t just setting traps—it’s identifying why the problem exists in the first place.

During this inspection, I found standing water in the basement, multiple structural entry points, and conditions that create an ideal environment for rodents. While I can eliminate the current rat activity, it wouldn’t be right to tell the homeowner the problem is “fixed” without addressing what is attracting them and how they’re getting inside.

At That Pest Guy LLC, I believe in honest recommendations and long-term solutions—not temporary fixes. That means taking the time to inspect the property thoroughly, explaining my findings, and helping homeowners understand what needs to be corrected to prevent future infestations.

✔️ Comprehensive inspections
✔️ Honest recommendations
✔️ Entry point identification
✔️ Long-term rodent prevention—not just control

If you’re hearing scratching in the walls, finding droppings, or simply want peace of mind, I’d be happy to help.

🐀 CAUGHT IN THE ACT! 🐀👀 IT’S AS BIG AS A SMALL CAT!

Think you don’t have rodents? Think again.

This rat was caught on camera making itself at home inside a kitchen. Most homeowners never see them—they’re active when you’re asleep and can squeeze through openings as small as ½ inch.

⚠️ Rats can:
• Contaminate food and surfaces
• Chew electrical wiring, creating fire hazards
• Damage insulation and property
• Spread bacteria and disease

If you’ve heard scratching, noticed droppings, or suspect rodent activity, don’t wait until the problem gets worse.

📞 That Pest Guy LLC provides thorough inspections, effective rodent control, and helps identify how they’re getting inside.

Don’t let your home become their home.

This is more than just an eyesore — conditions like this create a serious health and structural risk for any property.

Accumulated trash, cardboard, food packaging, moisture retention, and organic debris provide ideal harborage for pests such as:

* Rodents
* Cockroaches
* Flies
* Ants
* Occasional invaders

Areas like narrow basement stairwells and damp entry points are especially problematic because they offer:
✔ Shelter
✔ Moisture
✔ Food sources
✔ Limited disturbance

When sanitation breaks down, pest activity typically follows shortly after. Cardboard and clutter also make inspections and treatment far less effective because pests can hide and breed undisturbed.

From a property management standpoint, situations like this can quickly lead to:

* Tenant complaints
* Odor issues
* Increased pest pressure
* Water damage concerns
* Higher long-term remediation costs

Prevention starts with consistent sanitation, debris removal, moisture control, and routine inspections before a small issue turns into a larger infestation problem.

At That Pest Guy LLC, it’s important to us to be more than just a pest control provider — we strive to be a true partner to property management teams and real estate investors. Our goal is to help protect assets, support tenant satisfaction, and identify risk factors early before they become expensive problems. Fast communication, proactive recommendations, and long-term prevention are a major part of how we serve our clients.

German roaches love hiding in places most people never think to look — like inside your stove control panel.

It’s warm, dark, and full of tight spaces, which makes it the perfect hiding spot. By the time someone sees a roach in the kitchen, there’s often a lot more activity happening inside appliances like this.

This is why a proper treatment isn’t just spraying baseboards. You have to find where they’re actually living.

A little kitchen surprise we found today during an inspection.

If you’re dealing with German roaches, we can help.
