Some of our most consistently positive feedback is a seemingly small detail, a detail that costs nothing but some planning and a few hours of our time. It’s this. A 2” binder of paperwork.
Buying a home is the biggest decision someone will make, but it’s nearly always a major mystery. If you can scan a QR code and trace where your carrots come from, why wouldn’t it be an absolute minimum standard to know who installed critical safety measures in your home? It boggles my mind.
We leave our buyers with everything we can. A list of all subcontractors. Owner’s manuals for all lighting, appliances, and plumbing fixtures (did you know that nearly every name brand faucet has a lifetime warranty??). The color codes for all paint. The brand and style of all windows, doors, cabinets, doorknobs.
Most rehabbers on the market want to wash their hands of their work and disappear after the sale. We want to set a new standard.
