Today, we’re proud to recognize Murph, our Operations Manager, as he celebrates 15 incredible years with Indoor Comfort Team!

Murph is truly the heart of our daily operations and the technical side of everything we do. After spending years in the field, he went on to teach at technical schools, including Vatterott College, and serve as an instructor and trainer for Trane Technologies. He also worked as a Field Service Representative, stepping in to solve the toughest challenges when other technicians needed support.

Throughout his career, Murph has trained more than 5,000 technicians, making him one of the most experienced HVAC trainers in the industry. Today, he continues to train and support our technicians in-house, generously sharing the knowledge that has earned him the nickname “the walking HVAC encyclopedia.”

As impressive as his experience is, Murph’s character makes him even more special. He is always ready to help, encourage, teach, or solve a problem. He’s an amazing father to three daughters, a proud grandpa, an animal lover, and a true teddy bear at heart.

Murph, we love you and are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve given Indoor Comfort Team over the past 15 years. Congratulations on this milestone! We’re lucky to have you at the heart of our team. ❤️

HVAC Myth: Turning your thermostat down to 60° cools your house faster.

Unfortunately, that's not how it works.

Your air conditioner cools at the same rate regardless of how low you set the thermostat. Setting it dramatically lower usually just makes the system run longer and can increase energy use.
