Happy Teachers Appreciation Week to all the mentors out there making our future brighter!! 🙌

The future of our trade is only as strong as those willing to teach it.

Every day, our instructors at the SEC: Streib Education Center show up to invest in the next generation, sharing their knowledge, setting the standard, and helping shape not just great electricians, but great people.

This year, that message means even more as we remember one of our own, Danny Petero.
Danny was deeply respected, a steady presence, and the kind of mentor people didn’t forget. The impact he made didn’t end in the classroom, it lives on in every apprentice he trained and every lesson he passed down.

We’re grateful for all of our instructors and the role they play in building the future of our trade. And we’re proud to carry Danny’s legacy forward.

Saturday 2/21/26 was our St. Joseph Housing Initiative lab day!! Our 3rd Year and 2nd Year classes worked hard to execute their plans and complete the rough-in work on two houses!
A big Thank You to Butler Supply & Metro Lighting for donating materials and supplies for our work!
And of course, nothing would have been accomplished without the teamwork and support of our apprentices and leaders at Streib Company, (Keith, Jordan, Jake, Larry, Shaine, Lauren, Henry, and Tom, just to name a few...).
Cheers to giving back and making a difference through learning opportunities and hard work!!
