Every project we run follows the same four steps, whether it's a kitchen, a basement, or a whole house.

It starts with discovery and planning. We walk your space, connect you with a designer or architect if you need one, and send an itemized proposal so you know the budget and timeline up front.

Next comes the step we care about most: remediation first. Mold, structural, plumbing and electrical problems get fixed before any new finish goes on top, because a pretty surface over an old problem is still an old problem.

Then we build with care. We protect what you're keeping, handle demo and haul-away, and tell you right away if we find something unexpected. At the end, we walk through it together and hand over a space you're excited to live in.

Before choosing tile, paint colors, or countertops, the first questions should usually be:

What condition is the plumbing stack in?
Has the electrical system been partially updated or fully replaced?
Are structural beams carrying loads they were never intended to?
Is water entering through masonry, roofing, or grading?
Has previous work compromised ventilation?
Are joists notched from decades of repairs?

Historic homes tend to fail where modern shortcuts were introduced.
