Cold weather is coming, and now is the time to prepare your concrete for winter!

Water can soak into unprotected concrete, freeze, expand and contribute to surface damage. Deicing salt can make the problem worse, especially on newer concrete.

Help protect your driveway, patio and walkways:

✅ Avoid using salt or harsh chemical deicers
✅ Use sand for additional traction when needed
✅ Keep leaves and debris from collecting on the surface
✅ Make sure water drains away instead of pooling
✅ Clean and seal your concrete before freezing temperatures arrive

This one was a serious transformation. Huge driveway, walkway, and steps, all finished with a Crushed Meramec exposed aggregate concrete mix.

The exposed aggregate gives this project a sharp, natural look while adding some serious character and curb appeal. From the driveway all the way through the walk and steps, this one came together beautifully. 👊

This past weekend, Shamrock Concrete was honored to sponsor and participate in the Ryan Griffith Memorial Golf Tournament.

This incredible event helps fund high school wrestling scholarships while also supporting the training and placement of K-9 dogs for local law enforcement... two causes that make a lasting impact on our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who organized, sponsored, volunteered, and played. It's inspiring to see our community come together to invest in the next generation of student-athletes and help provide our officers with the resources they need to keep us safe.
