Winter is almost here, so I’m dropping a little insider info for you.
Most people don’t know this, but almost all of the major HVAC companies in Utah have been bought out by private equity firms and Wall St hedge funds since covid. I know because I just left one, and have been in the industry for over 12 years.
The Investor boards of these companies have raised HVAC and plumbing prices to unethically high levels, imo. And most of these price raises have been coordinated.
I’m just blowing the whistle on this development and encouraging neighbors to support local smaller businesses that don’t have to factor in high advertising costs and interest repayments to a board of Wall St money managers.
Because of this, I’ve started my own heating and air company named Mammoth Heating and Air 🦣 . Our entire staff was trained and used to work for the larger HVAC companies before they sold out. Because of this, we offer the same install methods, equipment and experience, but are priced 30%-50% less than major competitors.
We are also hiring in all departments including our door to door sales program that requires zero sales experience.
Whether you use us or someone else, you really should just know what’s been happening in our industry so you can know where your dollars are going when they are being spent.
We are Utah county based, but cover the entire Wasatch front from Nephi to Ogden.
