This might be the most controversial post I ever write. 😂🌶️ But I gotta know… HOW DO Y’ALL LIKE YOUR CHILI?!

Travis has really been getting into cooking lately, especially on his Traeger! Today, he decided to try his hand at this thing called “Over the Top” Chili, and OH. MY. GOODNESS. 🤤

Basically, he put all the chili ingredients in a Dutch oven, then formed the meat into what looked like a giant meatloaf and put it on a rack directly above the pot. He smoked the whole thing so all those delicious drippings fell right down into the chili.

Y’ALL. IT IS SOOOOO DANG GOOD. 🤤

Now, here’s where things might get a little controversial. I personally like my chili served over macaroni with a COPIOUS amount of shredded cheese. And absolutely NO beans. After all, this is Texas, and I do have some standards. 😂

So now I need to know! Beans or no beans? Crackers or cornbread? Over rice, macaroni, or just straight out of the bowl?

Now, let me tell y’all a funny story. 😂

When I was making the Biscoff Banana Bread, I accidentally made EIGHT TIMES THE RECIPE. EIGHT. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I meant to quadruple it, but apparently I forgot that I had already doubled the recipe before I printed it out.

You’d think somewhere around cracking SIXTEEN EGGS I would’ve realized I had made an oopsie daisy. But nope. Just kept on cracking. 😂

It wasn’t until I poured in almost an ENTIRE CUP OF VANILLA that I finally thought, “Now hold on a minute… something ain’t right here.” 🤣

I just KNEW we were going to be swimming in banana bread for the next week. But as always, Y’ALL SHOWED UP FOR US!! ❤️

Seriously, thank y’all so much for supporting our little farmstand, even when the baker apparently forgets how to do math. 😂

Y’all, here’s a better picture of Buttercup for ya! 🦃❤️ Ladybug is still a little camera shy, so we’re working on getting her to come around for her close-up! 😂📸

Aren’t these girls just GORGEOUS?! 😍 Their feathers are this beautiful mix of grey, blue, and bourbon red. And when I tell y’all they are the most LADYLIKE turkeys ever… I mean it! 💅🏼😂 Just beautiful, elegant little ladies!

They’re settling in really well around here, which makes me so happy! 🥹❤️

Now, if only Wilson, Butterball, and Herbie would GIVE THESE POOR GIRLS A DANG BREAK!!! 🤦‍♀️🤣 The boys are absolutely relentless!

Y’all, I swear, trying to run a farm around here is like managing a reality TV show, except everybody has feathers and nobody pays rent. 😂🦃
