People sometimes ask us, **“How have you done this for 28 years?”**
Sometimes the answer is simply: **we kept going.**
Years ago, TK and I were traveling the country installing swimming pools. On one particular job, my back went out.
But the pool still had to be finished.
TK kept working—leveling, raking and hanging the liner—while I got down on my knees with a drill and handled whatever I could from the ground.
The homeowners watched us all day.
When we finished, they asked us to come inside.
Waiting for us was a **candlelight steak dinner.** ❤️
They had watched us struggle, watched us refuse to quit, and simply wanted to bless us.
Twenty-eight years later, I still remember that table.
Business isn't built only on the good days. Sometimes it's built on the days you're exhausted, hurting, wondering how you're going to finish—and you finish anyway.
And sometimes, right in the middle of those hard seasons, someone reminds you that **kindness still changes lives.**
Twenty-eight years later, we're still building, still serving, and still grateful for every mile of the journey.
**Same hard work. Same heart. 28 years and counting. ❤️**
